This is a photo of the Helipad beside the Administration Building at Collinsville Coal Co. infrastructure area. Workshop and Service bay complex in background. After the major expansion in 1983 MIM operated a Bell Jetranger and an Augusta Helicopter to transport personnel between Collinsville Coal,Newlands Coal and Oakey Creek Coal, all owned by MIM and to link up with Mackay and Rockhampton air flights. Ken Phillips was the Senior Pilot.
