JOY diesel/electric car that was introduced into the No 1 State Mine for mechanisation. After the disater of 1954 it was parked up in No 1 Cut-through at the mechanisation. It was brought to the surface in 1961 and was used to transport bits and pieces from No 1 Mine to the new No 3 Mine.
