This building was originally the Scottville Store of the Collinsville & Scottville Co-operative Society Limited. Iris Scott worked in the store in the late 1960's and early 1970's. Later Coalfields Rural Agencies (owned by Darby Munro) operated from these premises. John Jones worked with Darby in the business. Darby uses the building as his personal residence these days.
