Chester James Parker – Rhodes Scholar, whose parents James Athol and Margaret Parker were from Collinsville. Chester James Parker died in a submarine off Greece on WW2. Chester won a British Scholarship and while there he joined the British navy. When WW2 broke out he joined the navy and lost his life in a submarine while serving. His Mum was sister to John Prohaska of Collinsville.
