1960 Taken from No1 State Mine gantry. The orange JOY 10SC shuttle car was the first delivered to the State Mine and taken into No 1 Mine. From the top of the picture down centre is the Horse stables. Just in front and to the left is the Main Vent fan House, to it's right the ash brick shed, to its right the saw mill. In front of the shuttle car are 1 ton skips used to take supplies underground. In the foreground railway VJM coal wagons.
